Grant earned his business degree at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario in 1975. While at McMaster, he was awarded an Athletic Letter for 4 years of varsity competition in the sport of rowing and was also a two-time Canadian champion in rowing, having won gold in both four and eight man crews at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in 1972.
He went on to a law degree from the University of Windsor in 1983 and was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in April, 1985. Grant has more than 39 years of experience in a wide variety of legal matters. His preferred areas of practice are now the administration of estates, estate litigation and family law.
