Pavish Singhla is an internationally trained lawyer from India who began his career as a lawyer in 2019 at a full-service law firm in the corporate hub of Delhi National Capital Region, India. Mr. Singhla specializes in M&A, transaction advisory, corporate/commercial law, corporate restructuring, and insolvency and bankruptcy matters. Mr. Singhla has handled several mergers, acquisitions, and takeovers of listed and unlisted companies, including multinationals and public sector undertakings. Mr. Singhla’s expertise includes corporate and real property due diligence, and has experience in conducting land due diligence for multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects. Mr. Singhla has assisted in strategic planning for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Overseas Direct Investment (ODI), managing and structuring multimillion-dollar cross-border transactions. Skilled in negotiation, Mr. Singhla has finalized various commercial arrangements, including joint ventures, franchises, and strategic partnerships. Mr. Singhla has represented clients in India before the High Court of Delhi, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Tribunals.

Mr. Singhla has a deep understanding of the corporate start-up ecosystem. Mr. Singhla has extensive experience in private equity and corporate financing, facilitating major investments and financial structuring, and guiding clients through funding rounds and complex negotiations. Mr. Singhla has represented startups, founders, and investors, ensuring their interests and strategic goals are achieved. Adept at transaction documentation, Mr. Singhla meticulously prepares and reviews agreements to safeguard clients' positions and ensure regulatory compliance. Mr. Singhla’s comprehensive financial knowledge allows him to provide valuable insights and legal advice during critical business growth stages, effectively navigating the intricacies of corporate finance and investment law.

Mr. Singhla graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree, along with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Mr. Singhla is qualified to practice law in India and is a member of the Bar Council of Delhi.

Mr. Singhla has now moved to Canada and holds a Certificate of Qualification (CQ) from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, which formally demonstrates that Mr. Singhla possesses the legal knowledge, understanding, and skills set out in the prescribed national requirements for law graduates in Canada. Mr. Singhla is presently undergoing the bar admission process prescribed by the Law Society of New Brunswick to become a licensed lawyer in New Brunswick, Canada. Mr. Singhla will be practicing as a dual-qualified lawyer (Canada and India) and is adept at providing legal services in English, Hindi, and Punjabi languages.
