The Opportunity
Position: Corporate Associate (Hybrid/Remote)
This is a unique and intellectually stimulating full-time opportunity for a quick-thinking, detail-oriented person. In this role, you will provide first-class legal support to our corporate/commercial clients and excel at providing top-quality work while thinking independently. You will be client-facing and work on all aspects of our portfolio, including mergers, acquisitions, financings, corporate restructurings, and governance. You will work with a full range of small businesses, multi-national corporations, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal support to corporate/commercial clients.
Manage mergers, acquisitions, financings, corporate restructurings, and governance.
Work independently and think critically to provide top-quality legal services.
Engage with a diverse range of clients, including small businesses, multi-national corporations, and government agencies.
Qualifications
Must be a member of the Law Society of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Ontario.
Must reside in the Province of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Ontario.
3-8+ years of experience in corporate/commercial law.
Ability to work independently.
Hybrid/remote working possibilities for those not residing in the Woodstock, Hartland and Florenceville-Bristol areas.
